Day 16 - Brunswick, GA (Day 1)

We moved 190 miles to the northeast today and ended up in Brunswick, GA.  It was a nice day to be on the road.  There were intermittent, light showers along the way.

The route: FL-24 from Cedar Key through Gainesville to Waldo, US-301N to Callahan, east on FL-200 to I-95, then north on I-95 to Brunswick, GA.

Gainesville is very clean and attractive.  The University of Florida is impressive ... the buildings are quite modern, well maintained and extensive.

Our stopping point turned out to be the delight of the day.  We're camped at Blythe Island Regional Park Campground.  This is a 1,100 acre county campground.  It has 96 full hook-up RV sites with every amenity we could want ... wi-fi, cable TV, laundry, etc.  It is one of the nicest public campgrounds we've seen.

Rain has been teasing us all day.  We got set-up and had dinner before a constant light rain arrived.
